INSTRUCTIONS

1.) Determine which wire to install unit on.

*Make sure unit is installed in “power” side of gauge, NOT “sender” side.

2.) Disconnect the battery.

3.) Determine suitable mounting location. DO NOT LET HANG.

(a mounting eyelet is provided on unit)

4.) Cut & splice unit into gauge circuit:

*RED wire connects to the “power” or “keyed power” wire coming from the ignition switch or battery.

*GREEN wire goes to the gauge.

*BLACK wire needs to be securely fastened to a clean, bare metal ground.

5.) Re-connect the battery and check for proper operation.

CAUTION:

*Use ONLY with NEGATIVE ground wiring systems.

*One voltage reducer per electrical gauge.

*Be sure to disconnect the positive cable from the battery to avoid electrical shock!

*DO NOT use with amp meters or motors (i.e. heater blower motors, windshield wipers) or with other high current draw applications
