Love it! I had a farming family living next door to me, a city boy, so I decided to have some fun.
I planted a little garden next to our mutual property line, and then one weekend I went over to Norm's
house and told him I wanted to show him how my garden came in...a true bumper crop! I had taken
all of my spare bumpers and stood them up in rows. Norm never laughed so hard in years. We had
many more laughs as the years went by.

I had one like this years ago, since we moved to a new area I am not sure how this would go now!
Maybe I can do it on the lot line and folks will think it is the young couple next door. Not an old guy like me.

Slight sidebar from the Halloween fun. It amuses me that everyone has a different name for these things, e.g., Third Member, Chunk, Diff, Center Section, Hog's Head. No wonder newbies think we speak in tongues!

"The view of the Leffler & Loukas coupe that many compe***ors saw. These guys towed out to the west coast from Parma, Ohio, and put a lot of California racers on the trailer. Neil Leffler stayed, and partnered with a lot of California racers on both dragsters and funny cars."

    Hello,

Every year since 1958-59, we have been impressed with the Compe***ion Coupe of the Neil Leffler/John Loukas team. It set records in the Midwest. When they traveled out West, again, they set a record for the Compe***ion Coupe Cl*** in one of the So Cal's biggest drag race meets at the time.

Just messing with you, Stogy. I used to run across Ontario from Port Huron, MI to Buffalo, NY and there were several Canadian truckers I talked to regularly on the CB. Running with one of them one night and saw one of the city limit signs for Hamilton with the population on it. Couldn't help it, I asked him if that was metric and he called me names. Touchy, eh?

Yeah humor is a many Splendored thing eh!, I grew up in inches and foots and in high school there was a conversion to metric...man that was awkward...

I got into aviation just out of High school and it was decimal inches through and through so I've had a mix of it all along and then there's Imperial and US gallons...

  29. Ya gotta be careful what you say to those Canucks.... they're sensitive and get pissed off (not pissed/drunk) but are too polite to say anything.
