I am looking to buy a set of mid-late 60s vintage torq thrust wheels (15x8.5 4 on 4.5 bolt pattern). I want to get some older ones since it seems that all the new ones are made in china.:(

so far I haven't been able to find anything locally

I found this http://www.akhwheels.com/pages/inventory.php?cat=1 and was wondering if anyone had experience purchasing from them?

I have also been checking out http://www.torquethrustcentral.com/ but they don't seem to have the inventory that the AKH wheels website has.

Any info or other suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I bought a set of 6-lug US Indy 15X8-1/2 Aluminum Slots from AKH Wheels a couple years back. Straight shooters from my perspective. Wheels arrived on time and in as stated condition.

Try Don Waldron at Rods West 760-375-4573. Great guy with quality wheels.
