Purple Cars????? any of them out there??

This style top came on the 57 Buick Roadmaster 2dr Ht. Watch this video and you'll see that jigger is right.

Purple isn't gay unless your holding a boquet of periwinkle flowers and wearing a purple speedo, heck the word periwinkle even sounds gay.

in fact, I'm certain I did, but I can take the criticism too.

 

I do give it second thots...I like to think I can remember all the cars I grew up with...so I checked on Buicks...looks like you are correct. I would've lost money on that one...I thought all Buicks of that year had the three piece rear windows...

Besides, it does look like a '57 Cadillac top, doesn't it...???

Here is a pic of my 49 Plymouth. painted with $39.95 per gallon paint off e-gay. pic doesnt show it, but the color is a mile deep due to the more expensive clear painted over the top of it. still come out less than $400 for the materials. also a pic of the "toilet seat" air cleaner just for laughs

Big Buicks and some Cadillacs shared a few body dies, that would have been one of them, including Buick Roadmaster Hardtop and Cadillac Seville, 2dr and Coupe De Ville. The balance of the Buick hard top line did use the 3 window backlight.

Purple is one of those colors that either makes or breaks a car. Thought about doing my TT in purple but can't find a shade that suits me. Most purples suck ass, there are some beautiful candy's and flakes I've seen but nobody will (or can) tell you the code off the car.

 

It was the first Harley I ever saw in purple, the first red light I was stopped at some chick pulled up next to me on a purple Harley, said, hey nice color.Dang

When it came time to paint my chopped 40 pkp, my granddaughter's favorite color was purple so I had some epoxy primer custom mixed to get as close as we could. It was a big hit with her!
