last time I drove the imperial the reverse button went in all the way and fell in . Giving me no reverse . I cant even see whats going on inside . no accesses panel at all . I am guessing that I need to pull the speedo package out to gain access . Dose anybody have any experience with this ? I don't know where to start . hanging upside down looking under the dash this old fart cant see anything . Dose anybody have any diagrams of this assembly ? Help !
the aluminum "power flight" plate should wiggle off to exsposed the famous mopar bush button mechinics...which might hopefully allow you to lube the assemply and pop the reverse button back in....this is actually a common thing with the push buttons all the way up and back a year or two...lack of lube on the cables down to the trannie makes for a stcky button....good luck....wish I had a scanner....
