Has anyone run the "push through" bullets on their wheels? I really want to get some and ditch the chrome spray painted dust caps that I am running right now- they look lousy on my chromies.

If you have run them, where did you get them, how much, and did you run into any problems installing them? Thank you for any help that you may be able to offer.

Check out this guy: www.lugnutking.com He has a m***ive display at the swap meets,I just tried clicking on hub caps and my computer seems to be having a brain freeze:rolleyes: If you order you will need to measure the center hole diameter of your wheels.

I have used many push through center caps on all kinds of mags back in the 70's and 80's . The only real problem I had was some Rattled from being loose but you can always fix that . I liked them on chrome reverse I had with L60/15 Road Hugger tires !

I run them on my rims. I can look to see where I bought them either ebay or wirthscustoms.com. I had to hone out the center of my rims to get them to fit perfect. I used a cut off wheel and slowly went around the center. When I got the bullets they wouldn't even fit through. It took me an hour per wheel to hone out the center. I just kept going around real slowly and I would take the bullet and put it in the center hole to see how much more I had to go and to make the hole even so that when u push the bullet through the back it wasn't all lopsided. I have seen others do the bullet at car shows and have seen some real messed up rims. I have not had any problems since I installed mine. Ill try to find out where I bought mine and how much? Hope this helps.

I bought mine from the wheelkid here on the HAMB. www.rallyamerica.com

He is an Alliance Vendor and is great to deal with. If I remember right, there are multiple sizes depending on your inner diameter of wheel. Mine fit perfect in my wheel vintique wheels. I just noticed my avatar shows them...

Does anyone know the best way to measure the inner diameter- what tool to use? Thank you guthriesmith for the link- if his bullets fit, I will definitely go with that fella.

Honestly, I used a tape measure. However, calipers would be a much better tool to use...
