Suicide front, Make the spring perch as high as you want. Coils in the back, on trailing arms, clip the back of the chassis off so the rear can pass it. Channel the devil out of it. Or all of the above.
Seriously though, why WOULDN'T you want to z the frame. Most guys would rather do that than channeling because you keep the same cab space and you need all the leg-room you can get (usually). Unless you're a midget, then nevermind, ...as you were.
I'm pretty short legged so it isn't normally a problem for me, but to maintain leg room you just drop the floor. Like the Old Hudson Hornet. A little OT but just a thought.
no expert here but, de-arc springs, reverse eyes, dropped axle, 15" wheels, and channel the body the depth of the frame. what's that, 8 or 10 inches lower measured at the door bottom? Paul
