Yea I understand that one too . I can't tell you all the crud and **** I have found when trying to clean my car out . I have never really done that since I bought it 4 years ago . Mine has been a drive and work on it as I go .
Anyway I am glad to hear you are having fun driving your car to shows . That is what it's all about anyway , right ? Just get out and put those miles on the car !
How was the show and sounds like it was for a good cause too !

it only had a 124 entry. which the sat night cruise in at the same location dose more then that. but they said with the money they get , last year they was able to buy christmas presents for a 1000 kids . so pretty good. yea i been more concernd with trying to make it more driveable then driving it . i have owned it about 2 years and never realy cleaned it . but now im ready to drive the wheels off it and work on it too. its safe now . it was far from it when i bought it , i just didnt know it . if i had known what i know now about the brakes on it i wouldnt have even drove it home , much less racked up about a 100 miles going to a couple of shows . but now i think its time to start on the body till winter then pull the engine and put brg's in it .

The show sounds like it was a hit ! 1000 presents for a smiling like is worth everything ! there is a show in late Oct at the mall in the next town that does the same thing every year . They have been doing it for a very long time now .
I had the same problems with my 55 Ford fordor . I asked all the right question and even drove the car around the block . Went to take it home and it made it about 5 blocks and the bottom of the radiator went out . Cost me $200 to get it towed home . It was over 1 hour away so it cost me good . I am trying to figure out what idiots worked on mine ! I have seen anything from 4 different coats of bondo with different colors to someone using lean in the tail light fin ! I do have pictures of everything so will post one day in am album .
