Projects Putting power steering into 62 ford falcon

    i have a 1962 ford falcon with mannual steering and would like to change it to power steering. i know there is a company (abs) who sells a power steering box kit for around 950, im looking for something less expensive. any suguestions on a box that i could use for it would be aprreicated.:D

    how about using the power steering setup off a 65 mustang.. you won't have to change the steering box on your falcon its an add on cylinder to give you power ***ist on the steering.....just my .002 cents
     
  3. Why do you want power steer the falcon steering is so light?
    hot rod 33 is dead right on the parts though

    why bother with power steering? i have a 61 falcon factory sized tires and a large steering wheel,it steers good

    Its for my girlfriend who is very small and would have a difficult time steering.
