I have been slacking on the lack of post from the shop the past few years. As some of you who know me know that Red Humphries took me on as a business partner in 2010 when we opened QC Fabrication. This is my 4th year at the shop and Red continues every day to p*** down his knowledge to me while also opening a whole new chapter of skills at age 63. In the recent weeks we have been finishing mock up on a 1955 first series pick-up truck that we are restoring for a customer. We also have been working on getting our website back up and running.(queencityfabrication.com) The pictures below are just a few of what we have been up to. We recently spent an entire day tossing ideas off each other. I was on the lathe learning how to make a shift knob while Red was on our recently purchased Bridgeport learning how to make anything and everything. We kept calling each other over to show what we learned. Days like that are what drive us to work harder to become more skilled at what we do. Ill keep everyone posted as we make progress on learning new skills and building both customer cars and our personal cars. We also have hoodies and beanies for sale in the misc. cl***ified section.
