Question about paint

Hello everyone. Nobody here probably remembers me since it's been like a million years since I last posted, but I'm tinbender's nephew . . . anyways:

I have an '84 Camaro, (first car, please dont bitch at me), and it needs paint. After I do the bodywork (with help from my uncle) I was thinking of taking it to Maaco and getting thier Ambassador paint service. However, since I do not feel like giving my car a shitty paint job and/or being screwed out of several hundred dollars, I felt I should ask the professionals. What's the consensus here about Maaco? Do they do good paint work?

P.S. The color I was thinking of is Laser Blue Metallic, or something similar to that. Does anyone know similar shades of blue? I'm basically going for a high-gloss, vivid shade. The image below is a picture of a new Impala in Laser Blue Metallic
