I have posted a few times on the cl***ifieds to try and sell a 39/46 GMC Panel truck. Have had absolutely no responses. Is it priced too high?...or is there just no one out there that is interested in a GMC panel? This is a pretty nice panel and I simply do not need it. I got it in a trade for work and need to get something out of it...maybe a trade and some cash...

I am beginning to think maybe we will just roll it back inside the building and let it sit for another 20 years...but I am 68 and time is running out, most of my time goes to building NSS cars and racing our 63 Ford.......This panel sat under a shed in Little Elm, Tx for over 15 years before a friend bought it...he said, " I am going to pick up my Mickelob truck".........seems that he let the beer talk one afternoon and bought the thing...I would up with it........We have a 6-71ed BBC sitting here, complete and ready to go...I have started a few times to put it in and build the thing...but have way too many projects already.........my wife's 49/50/51 shoebox is still sitting iin the corner waiting for some more floor work..........I dare not start another project before that one is finished.........

Question is...is there NO one that wants a nice panel truck?

    I love them.
It is tough to sell a vehicle without pics. Got any?
    I am interested.

That's a nice looking project - I'd love to own it if you were closer.
I have a '48 Fleetmaster posted for CHEAP...and an awesome 19,000 mile Stude body that would make a phenomenal phaeton project. I think in most cases it comes down to dollars: things are tight on many fronts. Add to the mix that there are SO many good deals, people with the dollars are going after their dream cars since they are within reach for the first time in years. I've said a hundred times - if I had $100K to invest today, in a few years when the economy comes back I'd be retired.
Best of luck...maybe dabirdguy is the lead you're looking for!

Yea, I wondered about that also...I put up another ad this morning...and now it does not show up.

Will just give up on posting an ad on the Hamb...will go to Craigslist...and eBay......

This is just too nice of a panel to give up on..........and I have no need for it.

Maybe if it is still here, will take it to the Thaw........

if anyone wants to see pics...check the post above...
