Question about Thread search

Hello
I have a question about the search button. I'am looking often about Edsel over the search. It works good with old Threads but not with my own.

When someone or I post to my thread and I'am looking over the search for Edsel the Thread come not at first. I'ts everytime on site 5 and go more and more to the end. I don't know if other Members have the same problem with my Thread.

Make I a mistake or do not understand the function?

You wish to find your own thread quickly instead of searching each time?

To do that, in your own thread you just click "Thread Tools" and choose "subscribe"

When you want to check go to "manage your account" just above and see your subscribed threads

I hope that is what you mean.

 

Or click on statisics under your avatar on your profile page, a couple of bars come up on the page. The bars say see all posts, and see all threads started by you, click the threads bar and there you are.

 

@zep058, Thanks. But I will know if somebody found my Thread at first when he is searching for Edsel. When I search only for Edsel (not specially my Thread) then it is everywhere in the search. I Hope my English is good enough? ;-)

I just looked up your build post under the search "edsel", Its on page 6 but it has the date as posted yesterday, which was 5-8-12. but its below a post that was in march??
maybe a moderator can explain??
