question about torque convertor bolts?

i need some for a 400 bhehind a nailhead not that that mattters. but does anybody have a part number that may be good at a carquest or napa they seem to not want to help me I do not want to put the wrong stuff in here I was thinking of running just a grade 8 bolt but will this work or are they supposed to be special? thanks drew they seem like they need to be about 3/4 of an inch 3/8 bolt

Don't know the local parts store number, but you can get ARPs mail order in a couple of days, and they're pretty reasonable.

I got some from a local trans shop in town, weren't too expensive, and I didn't want to wait for mail order and shipping charges.

 

I went looking for clutch & flywheel bolts and everything I found locally was made in China. I bought them from ARP and they weren't a whole lot more that the Chinese ones and I don't have to worry about them failing.

 

Parts stores will have them in their DORMAN assortment, and yes they are special.

 

local trans guy says good grade will be fine.
