1964 Galaxie 2dr post, what if any other models had the same roof? Would a 4 dr post from 1964 fit? I'm talking just roof skin not door posts. Was the 1964 2 dr post roof the same as 1963 2dr post? Any ideas where a guy may find out for sure or find a 1964 2 dr post parts car with a good roof?

I would think, but I can't say for sure as I am alot more familiar with wagons then 2dr's, but 1961 to 1964 roof skins should be very similar or the same. They are for the wagons, I don't know if that translates to the 2dr's as well. Of course the Skyliners will be different.

Perhaps a Google image search will help.

    Good Luck

the 64 2dr post and 4dr post skins are the same for the galaxie/custom 500/custom. i think 63 was different cuz i cant remember it having that little ridge near the back glass but i may be wrong about that.

i think only the '64's have the ridge on the rear of the roof, '63's are flat(ish).

Thanks guys. from images Ive seen, only the 64 post roofline looks like it does. It is not like a fastback style of the hardtops and really did not look like anything in 1963 either...
