I have an older Frankland QC that I am rebuilding. Question is about the seals that go in the bells and seal on the carrier. Running on the street should I eliminate those seals to get more oil to the axle bearings . Do these seal restrict oil ? I have new tubes with Ford Torino bearing ends. Thanks for any help.

Seals in the bells were for circle track race cars to keep the oil in the center and out of the outer bears which may or may not have been floaters. Those were serviced separately.
If your Torino ends have a good seal on the outside on the axle you can take them out if you want.
Rear end oil “wound” its way to the bearings on the axle and drained back in the housings which were always tapered from the factory. Yours are straight tubes which drain back much slower that’s the only difference.
