QUESTION: I Guess I'm Old....HELP With New "Friends" Thingy...MySpace??

OK, I feel old here. I have seen the new "friends" thing here on the HAMB compared to "friends" on MySpace and that still doesn't help me. I don't go to MySpace, let alone have a Myspace account, so I don't get it.

What benefit is there to having people in your "friends" list? Is there a real benefit or just bragging rights as to how many people are in your stable?

Please help a confused old man.

I think it's funny how after you arrange said friendship, you then get the option to 'break friendship'. Is that like breaking up or worse a divorce?

I think its easier to send someone a PM , rather than looking through the search feature to find them. I do like the feature of adding photos in your profile.

I guess it could be used to keep track of those that normally have something interesting to talk about rather then ********. I know I always go back to Scootermcrad's as well as a few other's post to see what threads they had started since the last time I logged on. Oh, and I strive to be the most popular when the HAMB yearbook comes out!
