    in the doorway, at the front door, is an embedding of pressed cardboard, it is necessary to secure Windlace Set.
    My board looks very bad.
    That can be used to replace the board?

    It's called a tacking strip. You can buy it, though modern versions are a hard plastic. You can also replace it with wood cut to fit. Takes staples better.

    do what chopolds said ,use wood.pine will last and splits less than hard woods.i been doing inteririors for 47 years and never had any go bad.and at my age wood is always good!
