I have a 1954 cadillac hearse that needs a new carb I was going to re build the original but found out just now ( the car is 1000 miles away) that it has some cheap replacement that needs to go. Can anyone tell me what a good size would be for a stock 331 cadillac in a 54 cadillac? any help would be great. Thank you.

Just remember that unless you change intake manifolds, the carb that fits would have the original 4 barrel 3 3/4 x 3 7/8 bolt pattern.

I would highly suggest looking around for an original and rebuilding it.

+1 for carbking. It ain't a hot rod and will be much more pleasant to drive/use with the correct carb. For anything modern you will need a adapter plate and then need to get the trans TP linkage sorted out. Old Hydros are not pleasant to drive with miss adjusted TP linkage.
