Will a 35 Ford truck fit on a 42-48 sedan ch***is. Hard to find a 35-40 ch***is. It will have Mustang ll front and 4 link 9" rear. Any help is welcomed.

I don’t think the 42-8 frame will work for you.
Maybe wescott still has the frame diagrams up?
Planning a trip out west in the future? Bring some strong backs and head home with a ‘36 PU frame I have.
It will cost you food and drink though;)

the 42-48 frame has a hump in the middle and is longer than the 35-40, might be wider at the back

I have seen people try but i have never seen anyone succeed. Though the cab is 99.9% identical the similarities end there. The 35-41 PU cab and bed sit on wood blocks to fit the p***enger car frame. The fenders, bed and running boards are completely different in the 42 up ch***is.

As for that other stuff, we allow camaro motors but not mustang suspension.

Talking like a Gillman’s Cl***ic Drive-in and gas station beer or a Galletto Ristorante type night?

Here is one on our cl***ifieds, cheap. There are also a pair of repop 35-40 frame rails on there, perfect for your MII suspension.

And the 42 -47 pickups had their own frame, didn’t use the p***enger car ch***is.

Thats why the front end doesn't fit when they try to make 40-41's out of them. Easier methods.
