Will a 35 Ford truck fit on a 42-48 sedan chassis. Hard to find a 35-40 chassis. It will have Mustang ll front and 4 link 9" rear. Any help is welcomed.

I don’t think the 42-8 frame will work for you.
Maybe wescott still has the frame diagrams up?
Planning a trip out west in the future? Bring some strong backs and head home with a ‘36 PU frame I have.
It will cost you food and drink though;)

the 42-48 frame has a hump in the middle and is longer than the 35-40, might be wider at the back

I have seen people try but i have never seen anyone succeed. Though the cab is 99.9% identical the similarities end there. The 35-41 PU cab and bed sit on wood blocks to fit the passenger car frame. The fenders, bed and running boards are completely different in the 42 up chassis.

As for that other stuff, we allow camaro motors but not mustang suspension.

Talking like a Gillman’s Classic Drive-in and gas station beer or a Galletto Ristorante type night?

Here is one on our classifieds, cheap. There are also a pair of repop 35-40 frame rails on there, perfect for your MII suspension.

And the 42 -47 pickups had their own frame, didn’t use the passenger car chassis.

Thats why the front end doesn't fit when they try to make 40-41's out of them. Easier methods.
