Question re: PA registration plates

I think that we all have a buddy with an inspection station that will give us a sticker. However,I don't want my friend to loose his inspection license because I got pulled over by a policeman in some small town that has it in for hotrods. The problem that I have with Street Rod plates as well as Antique plates is that they are so darn ugly. Where did they get the idea to put those two cars on the corner of the plates. I am fortunate that I still had an old purple plate. I think that the Collector plate is very cool looking. Reminds me of a CA black plate.
