questions about a 55 chevy 4400

i have a 55 4000 with an sm420 trans. it has a 235 in it now. i want to drop my 350 in. how difficult will this be? any info will help. thanks

 

Well, since '55s were available with small block V8s from the factory, it should be possible using all factory parts. You'll need V8 mounts, flywheel, and bell housing.
