questions about Caddy steering column

    i just bought a '66 Cadillac telescopic steering column. i want to put it in my '49 Chevy. if any, what modifications do i need to do to make this column fit, work, etc? and finally, can i put any GM steering wheel on it? a friend of mine said i could. any help and info is greatly appreciated. thanks.

    my buddy is parting out a 66 deville with a blue wheel on it if u want it let me know..

    Telle wheels for caddy's are specific. You can convert to a Vette wheel but there are a lot of vette parts that you would need.

    I think the 66 Toronado wheel bolts up. I don't remember what the caddy wheel looks like but the olds is a pretty clean lookin tele wheel with a horn ****on that unscrews a 1/4 turn to adjust.....My kid has one for his shubox
