I have a 223 straight six in my '58 F100. I already have a modded mechanical advance distributor. I'm running a holley 94 on the stock intake. The motor runs pretty damn well. I daily drive this sumbitch to work. My new neighbors are dicks. They kicked my buddy's dog. They also have (no shit) a Syrian flag themed wrap on their brand new BMW. I run straight pipes. They aren't happy about this at 5:30 am when I leave for work. Life is good. My brain is smaller than the average bear's. I can't leave things the way they are. I can't even bitch to my wife about all the hair dye she buys. Bear with me. I'm trying to think of another way to sneak another "bear" into this post. I found a guy on craigslist who's selling a 4 barrel intake for 200 bucks. I can talk him down. But, I'm also curious about multi carb setups. I would probably look into running a dual carb, just so the linkage wouldn't make me rip my hair out. I think dual 94's would be neato. But see, there's that thinking thing again. Do I need to do any porting of the head or anything? I've heard that my head will bottleneck everything unless I port it and fuck with the valves. Apparently, running multi carb only looks cool and doesn't have any real performance, and in fact will cause me to have lower mileage and less power because of reasons. Then, there's the people that tell me that running dual carbs will help "fuel starvation issues on cylinders 1 and 6." and that it's just the bees' knees. Or the bear's knees. Then, there's the people that tell me that a 4 barrel is a better idea because its "easier." Help me HAMBers.
