questions on my 51 ????

    hey guys im starting on my first rod its a 51 chev just want to know do these have chassie numbers and eng numbers and if so where do i find em oh and what would be a good budget ifs to go in it im in australia so might not have all the great stuff you guys got in the us but let me know and ill see what i get out of it cheers for any help

    I can't help you out on the numbers or the cost of items but youll save your self a ton of money be doing a lot of homework and making a build plan before you ever order any parts or make the first cut. Just my two cents not worth much.

    there is a number on a metal plate in the drivers side window post/door jamb area. people say some have frame numbers on top like under your feet but mine does not.

    The numbers will be on the passengers pillar for you. When you do an intro, as good manners dictate that you do, be sure and put the town you live in because Australia is a fkn BIG place. Who knows some fellow HAMBer might live just around the corner. Now wouldn't that be nice ? Don't mean to be too picky, but if you were to use your 'caps lock ' on your computer your request might be easier to understand. Oh and patience and good manners might get you somewhere as well. Sorry for the lecture, have fun when you settle in.
