Quick 327 Chevy Question

    I got my 327 back from the machine shop and need to get it the rest of the way back together.
    They sent a gasket kit with it, but I don't see one for the oil pump-to-rear main cap. Went to Autozone and they said they could order it. Went to NAPA and they said it's metal to metal. Didn't think they did that in '65.

    What's the word, gentlemen?

    Although not original they are available, made of copper and can be found several places. For instance Speedway p/n is 577-G55 is a three pack for $9.99. Never have used them myself but I know some that do.

    I decided to just install it without based on all of your replies, and because it in the pressure side, not the suction side.
