    Do these tend to hop on full lock around corners?

    A quickchange doesn't have to have a locked differential.

    Correct, just depends on the "differential" (carrier) you use.
    Yes...a spool will spin/rattle/hop the inside tire.
    An open or normal "posi" style unit will not.
    I have the gear driven, Dana Trutrac unit in mine with zero problems.
    Many carriers to choose from.

    Hop is not good but you can live with it. Changing to a differential will eliminate the hop.
