Can anyone identify this rear end or know anything about it. Not a very good picture that was copied from internet. I don’t have no clue!
Just a heads up... While yes, you do not...have a Quick Change rear axle assembly, there are however, covers that have pumps on them that circulate axle oil around the gear sets to verify that everything is well lubed. Maybe that's what the previous owner was trying to simulate. See page 32 - https://wintersperformance.com/appl.../1283/2019_Closed_Tube_Catalog_Website_V2.pdf Mike
It does appear to have some lines for circulation. It also could provide more volume and cooling, especially if the owner ever hot dogs it around some small track. Could even be some electrical wires hidden in the tubes to activate some type of locking mechanism the owner fabbed up. We don't really know.........do we?
Differential cooler pump. Runs lube through a heat exchanger. This pic is an OT sports car. Seems like I've seen these on NASCAR stuff as well.
