I just bought a 32 Ford roadster , car was built in the 90's , it has a Schaffer (don't know if that is the right spelling ) quick change has eneyone heard of this rear . It uses the same gears as most , has a big S on the gear cover . Not the car in my avatar .
Cut this ad out of a magazine when I first saw it advertised. Not sure when but over fifty years ago, the only real one I ever saw was strapped to a pallet with a 1/2" of dust and dirt on it possibly here on the HAMB. I don't remember if I ever called the number. Notice the ring and pinion are not like early Ford [on center], some thing about hypode gearset from a Corvair? Googled pic. I was off in years but 1978 Feb issue of stock car racing came up. I got to have the issue buried somewhere?
