Iam so happy for you guys, when I pulled up in my uhaul truck in inpound that morning and saw the roadster, I got all choked up, but thats what makes Bonneville, Bonneville. I know you guys understand. Whats the record at Elmo??

We were choked up too, that was the culmination of 5 years of hard work!

The record at Elmo is 130 minimum. We're in the ballpark!

EJ has the big ones, the rest of us were just along for the ride. Since it did so well we are going to make some improvements and try to squeeze a little more outta her. Maybe even some big girl bearings and a little bit of oil pressure. Great video.

Zor, are you telling me you guys are still dipping for oil? I've never been able to run a poured engine dippen over 60 mph, you guys must have made some big changes.--TV

 

How did you get the picture backwards? The one with the tech guy? Did you run with the 2300 carb?

 

Wow. You caught that the pic was reversed! You have a sharp eye. I made a mistake when I was changing the side iPhone orientation and also mirrored it. Whups!

We ran the two barrel Holley carb.

We trashed our '08-'10 motor on our return run last year. We chassis dyno the new motor tomorrow... hopefully. We didn't have it ready in time for Speedweek - replacement Dodge blocks are a wee bit tougher to find than Fords. We're hoping the Fast Four will be at either World of Speed or World Finals, but we'll see. Lots of radical changes. Tomorrow is judgement day. We'll know a lot more after that.
