So I have finally finished putting in my 302 on my 59 galaxie. Now I am wanting to do a quick fix on the upholstery for the seats. I have some se****s that I have on them now but would like to make them a little more permenant till I can redo the seats. Is there any tricks/tips in making these blankets stay. I was thinking elastic straps of some sort but wanted to get some feed back to see if there was a better way of going about doing this. Thanks!
If you weren't worried about saving them for later use you could get a bunch of hog rings and trim the blankets so you could hog ring them to the seats like seat covers. I've done it with fabric store vinyl before so it should be pretty easy with those. You won't be able to wear them to next years Cinco de Mayo party though.
