I just acquired a set of 40' Ford front brakes via ebay, and they need some attention. Where do I find, Wheel cylinders, linings, bearings/races? Can I get this stuff at the local parts house, or do I need to order? Sorry for the newb question, But im sure Ill have some more. Thanks...
Open yer phone book and call yer local parts stores. $0 stuff is still out there, ehck even NAPA has them
Go here and get what ya' need. I've shopped price all over. His are about the best and he makes an effort to make sure it's stuff made in the USA. www.dickspadaro.com
I am just finishing a brake overhaul on my juiced 36. I called Napa but was told only rebuild kits no wheel clyds. I ended up with Sacramento Ford I 'm not done making lines yet so I can't tell you how many leaks I got, but so far looks good.
I would also like to support my local parts store.....If they spoke my local language. Thats the only reason I learned spanish. That, and to understand what my coworkers are saying about me . I think that you should go through the website, sure you have shipping time and all that, but hes a HAMBer and makes sure parts are made in the USA to boot.
