This may be a Noob question, but I couldn't find this anywhere in a search. I'm building my first SBC 350 and have run in to an issue with the harmonic balancer bolt and my billet pulley. Is it ok to put the harmonic balancer bolt through the pulley and then attach it to the crank? I have an ARP bolt and washer, so the washer is bigger than the center hole on the pulley. If
I try and put the bolt in the crank first, then put the pulley on, the pulley sticks out too far.

I think this will be ok, but not 100% sure.

    Thanks,

    Scott

The only prob is see is using a "billet" anything.....seriously, you'll be fine. Just make sure the washer seats fine (i ***ume the pulley has a machined finish) and the threads engage far enough.

Thanks. I added some RTV to be safe. Seals up good. Thanks again.
