Quick question: how does a 32 insert mount to a 32 shell

I don't have an insert to look at.......and i haven't seen any 32's at our local car shows in a while...

Four screws go through the side of the incert and into the shell. That is from memory, not looking at a shell.

 

I was getting ready to drill the four holes on the sides and the two on top (repop shell and walker radiator).........I didn't want to pop four holes in the wrong place or be off 1/2" if the insert somehow uses the same mounting holes......

 

If you're asking if the holes that mount the grill shell to the radiator will conflict with the insert mounting holes the answer is no.

And if you're thinking of drilling the grille shell holes for the insert, don't do it until you have the insert on hand.
Each grille shell and each insert - between brands - is a little different so wait until the grille shell is on hand before you drill the insert mounting holes.

 

You need to put the insert in the shell then drill the holes in the shell -

the ones made by dale's mfg in oklahoma seam to fit the repo shells from brookville the best
