Folks Of Interest R.I.P. Chuck Finders

This maybe old news to some of you, but the gasser world has recently suffered the loss of an old school legend. Chuck Finders of the gasser era fame both as a builder and driver has recently passed away. R.I.P. Chuck you will be missed.

I thought maybe some people could shares their stories of Chuck.

I met him through my mom who had dated him before she met my father. i lived local so i had visited with him from time to time before moving to chicago and i lost contact. i wish i could have been around in the glory days to see him in action, among others.

sad loss indeed, he again races with his old friends, Sox,Landy,and the others we have lost this year.

 

Thanks for posting - didn't know about this. He built many of my favorite cars...
Would like to hear more from people who knew him.
