I don't know how to express with words how absolutely horrible this is. Losing a child is something that no parent should ever have to experience. Andy seems to have been an amazing person with the heart of a lion. I truly hope there is a better place after this life for people like Andy.

    God bless you Andy.

It should be a reminder to us all, just how precious life really is. Just imagine a place where everyone just got it, like he did. Rest in Peace and GOD bless..

What a shock,.... I just got back home from Detroit where I went to two funerals of some old Hot Rod buddies, and came to the HAMB to unwind and seen this,... even tho I never met him in person this hit me harder then the other two,.....

But Andy is now healed from his illness,....

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
    Rev. 21:4

Awww, man. I leave for a while and come back to be greeted by this. I am so sorry for Andy's family, but as others have said he moved on to hot rod heaven where every week is speed week.
    RIP Andy.

I never had the chance to meet Andy, but he's one of those rare occurance's that many of you had the chance to be touched by. Like others have said, he has taught several of you many things in his short life, let the memories be cherished and his legacy live on. Everyone of you showing your support for him, donating parts and labor to make that young man's dream come true, is extremely inspiring and shows us how we can come together in this hobby and create something beautiful.

I have not had time to go through the whole thread yet, has anyone suggested a HAMB ANDY memorial Hot Rod run? I think it would be a great idea?

My condolences. Glad to see the HAMB made a difference for him in his short life's last chapter.
