R.I.P HAMBANDY (Andy Dunn)

Very sad to hear this news. Really makes you think about your own life and how good you have it. My thoughts and prayers go out to Andy's family and friends.

Just the other day,I was reading a thread about how Andy was doing...Reading the news today,I feel like everyone else on the boards,like we lost one of our own.
I look back on when we were first introduced to Andy and his passion for our hobby.When most kids his age are into the import scene(or,heaven forbid,the Donk scene),this kid"got it"when it came to cars...When I looked at some of the photos of Andy with his Hot Rod,and how excited he was to drive it,I would get off my ass and work on my own car.Andy was a
big inspiration for alot of us for sure!
Godspeed to you Andy....Rest In Paradise

I think I'll go hug my kids... Godspeed Andy. You taught me something about my life.

 

I am very sad to hear this, it leave's me with a heavy heart.

I will be thinking about his family,

oh man. I was really hoping this day wouldn't come. I'm at a loss for words. I visited andy twice while he was here... I've never met anyone tougher. My thoughts are with mom and dad.. Well miss ya andy.

 

He was definately an inspriation to us all. Everyone who has written or sent things should be very proud to have been a part of a life that most never met in person.

The next time you want to complain about a headache or you think you may have had a bad day, think about what this guy must have gone through, but he kept right on dreaming about the next car show.

Good luck in Hot Rod Heaven Andy, you will be missed by all.

I'm numbed by this. I had envisioned meeting this young man when I visited his part of the country this fall. Andy was, and forever will be, an inspiration to me to not take myself for granted and to life each and every day to the fullest. God's speed "little buddy".

 

So sad... Andy was far too young. I was honestly shocked to see this as the first thread when I logged on. Condolences to Andy's family and also to those of you here who got to know Andy. He, and what he represented will be missed.

I can't think of anything worse than losing a child. My deepest sympathy to HAMBANDY'S family.
