Oh man sad news indeed. I remember seeing his truck at Goodguys Ft Worth and fell in love with it. I love WWW on chrome reverse rims. I did not know the guy but I shoul dhave intruduced myself to him when I was admiring his truck. I just took for granted I would see it or him again. RIP brother

Danyelle and me just got home from the viewing it was sad and happy all at the same time. Really wierd. A lot of hot rods and bikes and some major smokey burn outs . They do restorations and muscle cars. The car on the side was a beautiful Shelby that the customer wanted the motor and underside detailed. The duster is going to be a hemi duster clone. Mike you will be missed .
I just read this thread, so sorry to hear, I was near there last night, would've paid my respects even though I never met the guy. RIP.
Mike Lazear was one of my best friends. He helped me build my 50 Chevy truck that he so proudly called the clone of his green truck. He was the most talented hot rod builder i've ever known. The cause of his crash is still unknown. He was riding through an intersection and lost it. I speculate someone turned in front of him and caused the crash but it is still under investigation. Never the less he had some great friends who will dearly miss him. One of the best guys you could ever call of friend. Thanks to all that came out to show him some love last night! He is smiling down because that is exactly what he would have wanted! even down to ******* off the funeral director with the burnouts!
