Projects R. Seghi's 55 Chevy gasser build.

  1. car is still at the Body Shop getting the hood painted with a hole for the Tunnel Ram. And Roll Bar painted, and the dash fixed and painted.

Yeah I spent some time there in the 80s my band did some shows at the roxy and our friends were Black n Blue they played there alot,then I went to work for some other 80s hair bands,I met Dave Mann about 10-12 years ago and he signed a copy of Sunset for me........lotta great memories there,so the poster has alotta meaning to me also:rolleyes:

    Great looking car! Hugger orange is my favorite color. Looks great on the 55' ! I had a 33' Ford tudor sedan painted hugger orange! Like a goof I sold it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have fun with it, maybe I'll see you at the drags!

  5. Hey I picked up some '64 Pontiac Grand Prix bucket seats today and another '64 Pontiac Olds. Rearend. Thx Grouch.

    I'm going to use the buckets instead of the bench. The interior will be done in black vinyl pleats. I also have a Posi with 3:90 gears for the rear.
     
  6. I checked on my car at the body shop. I'm told that it will be a few more weeks.
     
  7. Just got a new Edelbrock 7110 Tunnel Ram from Summit. Now we can move forward on the hood.

    Looks great. I got my wheels and straight axle. Now I just have to find the right 55 for me lol.

    my son finally agrees with me to race the modelA not just drive around &take to shows......he is going to run it in d/gas....10.60's..
    getting trans brake 350 from mike's.........&new valve spring s/b good to go....the olds rear with summers bros spool&axles with 5.38 will like the trans brake!?!...........come out to anra meet at bakersfield &visit
    vince 1961 gasser [hamb]falcon pits with my son his 61falcon runs d/gas also...........

  23. I just made an Appt. with Kiwi Kevin to install my '64 Olds. rearend with ladder bars and '64 Grand Prix bucket seats for the weekend of the 15th.

    You need to come up to the Hor Rod Ranch Gasser Roundup with Groucho this Saturday and get your gasser fix!
     
  29. Groucho might not make it. I want to drive the Vette up, but nobody from around here is going to caravan with (strength/safety in numbers), and I won't trailer it unless it's broken. (read my signature:p)
