Thats cool how you photochoped /lettered that .I thought about the "Shocker" first ,but you know some kid at the track sometime is gunna ask what it means .Thats why i didnt really consider it.I do like the "White Trash" thing.I also thought about "All go no show" and "Corrosion" or "Decomposition" ,would fit it well...
It has the look of a nice, simple car...so how about 'the race car'...pretty much say's it all..and even kinda gives a humorous jab at taking the time to really name a car...in a fun way or course
I generally say to not force names and such. Just give it time and the car will let you know if it needs a name, and what it is. Something, sometime, somewhere, will just hit you and you'll know it's right. My coupe is just called "the coupe" or "the hot rod" when I'm talking about it. The Thunderchiefs do a song called "Buzzard's Coupe", but that doesn't really feel like the name to me. The "Field Car", on the other hand, came to me as soon as I saw the car with weeds growing up through it. On the other hand, I think something like "The Clod Buster" would be great in reference to The Dirt Clod '55 that left dirt all over the Mokan track.
So much for lawn Dart .The old Dodge is loaded up and ready to go to Sanger tonight.Im either gunna kick her ass or she will kick mine .Im hoping for a 7.49 .I may try the trans brake and a 3500 launch since i have the subframes connected now.Its almost 150 lbs lighter since the last time i ran 7.58 and launched at only 2000.My wife is going with me to take some pics of it in action ...
I like tranquilizer the best. Any maybe have the big ass syringe painted underneath the letters.....kinda like the Melrose Missle has a huge missle on the side. or the Red Light Special
haha... im shure we'll line em up at the hamb drags..... oh and were not afraid of having our "clods busted" lol....
