I prep and drive this Trophy Truck. We race Baja and the Ca. and Nevada deserts.

I race the factory stock when not in the desert, kinda like methadone .
Hold the Cajon Speedway (asphalt) track record. The track closed in 2005. Now we race Barona 3/8 mile and El Centro 1/2 mile dirt.

Way COOL, Tony! Do you know my pal Mark Miller who runs a trophy truck with Ryan Arciero?

I haven't met them, but I've visited their shop in the OC to retrieve a spare tire that we lost off the race truck during a race. Ryan Miller has a sweet deal with VW right now racing a new Tourag trophy truck in the SCORE (and probably other ) series.

  6. Here's mine, morph's a little bit more every year. Been running it since '05. I got a thing on the shop fridge saying "199.5 club" and it stays there for incentive. High speed last year was 201.923. But a weak backup - Record is 199.495. We made adjuststments & were ready to kick ass at world finals, but got rained out. Try again this year.

Thanks Don. Be sure to keep us posted when it makes it to the front of the line. Some folks may see a pile of junk in the ol' gal, but I see a true gem!

I also have a glass body of a 34 ford that I'm wanting to build into a street version of a race car. It would look something like the second pic when done.

Yeah, I'm surprised by the number of cars other than drag cars. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

The 96 Truck is a West Coast Pro truck we race in California,Arizona and Nevada.
The red 95 car was the car I won the NASCAR track championship at Tucson with.
The 15 is a NASCAR Superlate Model that I got to race in Tucson. Won the Trophy dash in it the first time out.

Here you are,.... "The Blue Racer"

    (1) Won B/SR Class at the 1964 U.S. Nationals Indy.

    (2) Won B/SR Regionals at Dragway 42 Ohio 1965

    (3) Was disqualified for B/SR 1965 at Bristol because this Model A had a 106” wheelbase, was bumped to Altered class,... Loren McCombs added a second front cross member at 103”, both cross members are still in the car.

    (4) Went back to Bristol Spring Nationals in 1966 and Won B/SR Class.

    Hey John,.....

No, I wish,... at any given time I am working on between 2 to 4 cars, and rarely are any of them mine, I have almost every part I need now and think I have the problem with my shop finally ironed out. Hopefully very soon. Did your boys have a nice Christmas ? Didn't they tell you, you need more 32 Fords ?,..... I think there right ! :D

Thanks Michael,.... And save me a seat in the 2 club. I'll get there one day. Maybe. LOL

  30. I like your thinking...I do need another 32 Ford...or even a nice 34, as it stands, if I drop dead tomorrow, only one boy will end up with a '32, that's just not right! You know if you run across anything interesting you can always send it my way. Christmas was great, thanks for asking, hope yours was good as well...
