Raceguys - Heat Riser - Which epoxy?

Any favorites out there? I have a set of old race heads and one has epoxy - one does not - did a little searching on the web - was wondering what any of you have had good luck using?

 

I had a recent conversation with Dan Dvorak, noted Hemi and Max Wedge builder out of Florida and he told me to go to walmart, get some large lead fishing sinkers and drive them into the heat riser ports. He says the soft lead will hexpand and contact with the cylinder heads and it works like a charm. I`m sure you would want to do this to heads when they are off the engine.

 

Years ago we would ball up tin foil and pack it in the p***age. Worked then...

 

I believe that Mondello uses/recommends Pyro-Putty
