    and a flexplate too!:D

So for about a year I've been collecting the above mentioned parts to build a flower trellis for my Honeysuckle and Clematis floweingr vines, (and other stuff too but thats another thread). Anyway, Riely Racing was kind enough to let me borrow his welder, (thanks much bud!) and what I thought would be a quickie project turned into months. Thankfully its on extended loan as he wasn't using it. I found out my garage is not set up for extended use of a welder as I keep blowing the fuse. CobraJet stopped by, saw what was going on and suggested braising would be easier and offered to bring over the equipment neccesssary and show me how to braise. Richard (Cobrajet) also suggested using rebar to reinforce the trellis as it is VERY heavy. He also suggested doing a plate along the bottom as support. Love guys with great ideas and those that support my crazy visions. Thanks sweetie for all your assistance, very much appreciated. :D

So a couple of days ago we finally got it attached to the house so I thought I'd share the photos. I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank all those friends that dropped off parts at the house, sent them in the mail, place them by my car at an event, did a HAMB relay or met up with me for a personal hand off. I really, really appreciate every single piece. My head is swimming with ideas still.

I'll continue to post and share what I've made. Thanks again fellas.

The bracket, we used three to attach it about 3-4 inches from the house.

Some might recognize their parts :D

once it is in full bloom, you won't be able to see what it's made of.

    Looks nice

:D at that point only those that are observant will notice and thats fine with me. You should have seen the broken down wooden trellis that I've had there for the last 20 years or so. Night and day difference now.

Nope, safety first, I've got these nice thick gloves to use when welding.

This art work looks very good. I hope the scrappers don't see this work and steal it.

Don't stop now, Denise. With all that welding experience (not so much brazing), you should be inspired to drag something into your shop for the full custom treatment...... chop, channel...... section..... etc.

    Nice garden thingy.
