Discussion in 'Off Topic Hot Rods & Customs' started by Robert J. Palmer, Apr 20, 2025.

  1. There has been much talk about tracks being shut down lately but how about a thread for tracks that have come back from the dead?

    Some here in NY

Closed for the first time in the mid 1950s

  3. I don't know much history on this one, I was there for the reopening in 2002 I do know it was a NASCAR sanctioned drags at one point.

It is a drag strip in the middle of a farm field in central NY!

  8. After being closed, Milan Dragway plans to reopen in the middle of May after being purchased by IHRA,
Back in 2021, Milan dragway was sued by Les Gold of American Jewelry and Loan. "******** Pawn". Apparently they borrowed money from them against the track and did not hold up to the conditions. The judge sided with Les Gold and forced the sale of Milan Dragway to pay off over 20 invested en***ies.
