Sorry I didn't get back to you , but I did make it to that show. I didn't have my car there but I did see yours and it brought back a lot of memories. If your Ford had a six in it, it would be identical to the way mine looked when I got it in 1974. I did have a long visit with a fellow Hamber that had a 53 with a six in it. This is the second cruise I've been to in Wisconsin and they are so different from the ones in the St. Louis area. Ours have so many street machines that they aren't that enjoyable. I sure wish I had met you. Is there anything going on Sept. 10? I have to cvome back to Racine to pick up my wife that weekend.
Aw heck, I wish I would have known you were there! We were busy in the Hot Rod area trying to stay in the shade. Man that lot gets HOT! My car certainly could have been cleaner- I washed it a few days prior to the show, but was too lazy to do it again. I did see that '53- it was the same color as mine, right? His was a 2dr but I like mine just fine. I'll check on shows for the 10th. There is always something up here.
