Does anyone know the dimensions of a 3 core rad for a 65 mustang? I am mocking up my engine placement and need to know how big the rad is.

I just took it out to garage this afternoon. Not sure if I have the dimensions online somewhere. Is it for an A? Here are some pics of how I did it up for my Tudor.

    Rad size is
21 1/2 from bottom to top of cap.
19 5/8 wide at front including flanges
18 1/2 wide at rear including flanges
Upper tank is 3 3/8 front to back
    core is 16 1/4 x 16 1/4

I am ***uming that you are same Grumper as on Canadianrodder. I would be interested on how your motor placement is progressing. I am trying to fit a buick 3.8 v6 in my A and it is presenting quite a challenge. As it sits right now I have it lowered to point that through bolt of the stock motor mount is about a half inch above bottom edge of frame rail and ****** fits under floor with no hump if I leave the lower part of firewall sloping in as per stock A. ****** pan is 8 in. from the ground. I had thought about using Ch***is Engineering mounts but I do not think they will let the motor down that much. I am using stock exhaust maniifolds with xover pipe. I have the minimum 3/4 in. clearance on each side. My angle gauge seem to give me a 5 degree slope on the output shaft when the carb is level. I thought it was supposed to be 3 on GMs.

Thanks for the help 38racing. Yup that is me on canadianrodder, I was looking at your posts there on your positioning. Don't quote me on this but I think you can go as much as 5 degrees but you'll get alot of vibration. Do a search on here for driveline angles I remember there being a number of posts on the subject. I am going to try to get my front suspension in place in the next couple of weeks and then I start farting around with my motor install.
