radiator cap mod.

    Want to take a gutted 33 chrysler wing cap and adapt it to a repro 32 ford cap to use on my duece radiator , any ideas ? Epoxy ? heat issues with epoxy ?

    Epoxy should not produce enough heat to cause any issues. Your really going to have to get the stuff roughed up so the epoxy has something to get a bite into. That might be where you end up building up the heat, so maybe a little at a time.

    Thanks but the heat I spoke of was radiator / summer sun etc.....heat proof to 270'F ?

    Epoxy should work fine... Or theres always duct tape... It fixes everything...
    But ya... A good 2 part epoxy...
