Hello all. Tim here with another question. How big a deal is it to get a Rad shop to do a radiator cutdown? Is this something that is commonplace? Does anyone know if they just replace the core entirely or use your own old core? Any ideas. Any help on this would be great.
    Thanks
    Tim

Hey Tim - you can take the radiator to the shop and they will cut it down for you and use the old tanks if they are good. They will look at it and see if its any good to use. my buddy Tom had a camaro rad cut down for his Willys Coupe.

Dixiedog is right on the money. With cleaning and pressure testing, it shouldn't cosy more than 75 bucks or so. A good shop can do alot with an old radiator.
