I'm sure this is a repeat question, but I couldn't find previous posts. We've put a '31 Roadster body sitting on top of aftermarket '32 rails. We want to run the '32 grill shell as well. While I bought a brand new radiator a while ago, I'm thinking that I ordered a radiator for a '32 and now that we trying to fit up a hood, it appears that the radiator is too tall. The belt lines just will not line up in a straight line, nor will the sides of the hood line up at all. The question is, should we have bought a radiator for the Model A instead and/or should it be even shorter than either of the two ('32 or the Model A). Any suggestions on how much shorter? And lastly, does anyone have any interest in swapping for a virtually brand new '32 radiator? Thanks
When we built the NSRA giveaway Hiboy 31 Roadster PU in 04 we used the 32 radiator 2 inchs shorter. Everything from the cowl forward had the right downward slope. Looked right.
