Looking to install a Rad , Having an issue with the one I have .
Not sure if choice looks good , Difficult to place a hood on top that is attached to the front grill.and get at the rad filler cap. I think this rad was from another hot rod with a v8 , If I place the rad lower the fan blade is in the way . could use electric fan only I guess. Thanks for any help.

  2. That looks like a 33/34 ford style radiator. The top Leans rearward ie radiator not plumb. The top tank follows the hood line. The top tank is also pretty big on those.

  3. Maybe a 32 ford style will fit your needs better image.jpg

I am at the same point you are, in choosing a radiator. I have a stock one out of a 37 dodge truck, but would like to get one that might not leak. Is there a H.A.M.B. vendor that makes one? If not who makes a good one that is American made.

So I would need to tilt it towards the fan blade and level the top of the tank ?
This would give me more room to play with thanks

Brice Thomas in Gadsden, Alabama, makes a nice radiator. Bought one for a future project that health is not going to let me finish.

  7. I think this is correct and a cure if you want to use that one would be to drop it enough to close the hood then open the hood to fill it just like everyone else does.

I also thing that the deuce style radiator the was suggest may be another solution.
